Job Title: Territory Sales Manager
Based: Houston, TX
Reports To: Vice President, South Texas Region

The Territory Sales Manager will serve as a trusted partner to authorized applicators, distribution partners, and the design community by delivering value-driven sales leadership and technical support throughout the South Texas market. This role is responsible for managing, promoting, and supporting the sales process for all product lines represented, while building strong, long-term relationships grounded in integrity, accountability, and consistent execution..

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the Houston/South Texas territory in partnership with the Vice President to support long-term viability, profitability, and strategic growth.

  • Develop, execute, and take full ownership of a comprehensive territory business plan, including sales growth targets, market share strategy, product mix objectives, and account penetration goals.

  • Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with key decision-makers throughout the project pipeline, including owners, consultants, architects, contractors, and distribution partners.

  • Create, manage, and follow up on job quotes, ensuring pricing strategies align with value positioning, margin expectations, and long-term customer relationships.

  • Manage territory performance using defined KPIs, including pipeline health, forecast accuracy, sales activity, product mix, and customer engagement, while providing regular reporting to leadership.

  • Forecast sales and pipeline activity, proactively identifying risks, opportunities, and corrective actions to meet or exceed territory objectives.

  • Develop and execute strategies for market share growth, sales growth, product mix expansion, and consistent, valued representation of applicable product lines.

  • Provide technical and jobsite support for contractors, reinforcing CSL’s commitment to service, solutions, and trusted partnerships.

  • Maintain CRM accuracy, job tracking, and customer data to support reliable reporting, dashboards, and data-driven decision-making.

  • Deliver presentations, training sessions, and product demonstrations to support education, specification influence, and sales development.

  • Manage pricing strategies to maximize value, protect margins, and support sustainable growth.

  • Collaborate closely with manufacturing partners to resolve issues, identify opportunities, and align market strategy.

  • Identify operational gaps or inefficiencies within the territory and proactively recommend and implement improvements.

Required Skills & Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree required

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

  • HubSpot or CRM platform experience preferred

  • Roofing or commercial construction industry experience strongly preferred

  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships, take initiative, manage priorities, and operate with accountability and professionalism

Total Compensation: ~ $125,000/year plus bonus/commission potential of 20%, car allowance, and medical, dental, and vision insurance offered with employee contribution. Compensation is commensurate with experience, proven performance, and aptitude for the position. Necessary equipment and resources provided. References required.
