Celebrating 15 Years

September 1, 2026 (McKinney, TX) - CSL Materials is celebrating its 15th anniversary, marking a milestone built on trusted relationships, industry partnerships, and continued growth in the commercial roofing industry.

Founded in September 2011 by Chad Lesher, CSL Materials began as the independent representative for Carlisle SynTec Systems in North Texas and Oklahoma. Chad brought years of roofing experience to the new venture, having started his career with Carlisle SynTec Systems in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, as a Special Projects Technician before advancing through technical and sales leadership roles.

In 2011, Carlisle had an opportunity for a new entity to become an independent representative in both North Texas and Oklahoma. CSL Materials was born.

“Fifteen years go by quickly, but when I look back, what stands out most isn’t how much CSL has grown; it’s the people and relationships that made that growth possible,” said Chad Lesher, President of CSL Materials. “Our manufacturing partners trusted us with their brands, our customers trusted us with their business, and we’ve been fortunate to build a team of people who genuinely care about serving this industry well.

In 2014, CSL expanded west when Lesher founded CSL West with Brandon Dawson as the exclusive Carlisle SynTec Systems representative in Colorado. Since then, the organization has continued to add manufacturing partners, territories, services and people.

Today, CSL works alongside contractors, distributors, architects, consultants, building owners and manufacturing partners, providing sales and technical support, design services, education and project assistance. Over its 15-year history, the organization has also received numerous industry honors, including Carlisle SynTec Systems’ 2012 and2024 Sales Organization of the Year award along with numerous PVC, TPO, FleeceBACK and New Products’ awards.

As CSL celebrates 15 years, the company recognizes the customers, manufacturing partners, industry colleagues and team members who have helped shape its story while continuing to look toward the future.

As part of its 15-year celebration, CSL Materials will host an anniversary giveaway throughout September, with prizes awarded across its territories. Follow CSL Materials on LinkedIn throughout the month for anniversary highlights, giveaway details, and opportunities to enter.
