Did you know that one in five children in the North Texas community faces hunger? No child should go without food—that’s why we've joined the Blocking Hunger Foundation’s mission. This amazing foundation has recently launched the After School Fuel fundraising campaign to raise $50,000. Every dollar raised helps provide meals for children who lose access to free and reduced lunch programs when the school day ends, during weekends, or over long breaks. These meals ensure kids can return to school ready to learn and thrive.

Here’s the reality: of the 180 days in a school year, there are 185 days when children are out of school. For just $370, you can provide one child with food for every day they are out of school in a year.
